CVC Kansas City Rules and Regulations

Please see the reverse side of the exhibit space contract.

Booth Construction
Exhibits and displays must be confined to the rented space. The maximum height of an in-line display is 10 feet at the back of the booth, 4 feet in the front half of the booth space, and 4 feet on each side of the booth. Exhibits may not exceed these parameters. Exhibits with backlights must be equipped with a back shield to prevent light interference with the booth behind. The aisles are the common property of all exhibitors and must not be obstructed at any time. Fire code regulations prohibit exhibits from extending into aisles.

Installation and Dismantling of Exhibits
Exhibitor setup is from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27. Friday is the only day scheduled for setup; no exhibits may be set up Saturday morning. All exhibits must be fully operational by 10 a.m. Saturday. Any booth space not claimed by 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27, will be reassigned without refund.

Exhibits must remain intact and manned during exhibit hall hours until closing at 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30. Early teardown or removal of merchandise after the first day of installation and before dismantling is strictly prohibited; violation of this rule may result in forfeiture of exhibit space and the revocation of your invitation to exhibit at the CVC Kansas City for one year.

Contractor Services
Freeman, the official service contractor for the CVC in Kansas City, will provide exhibitors a service kit with instructions for shipping, ordering furniture, and all other services customarily required by exhibitors.

Exhibitor-Appointed Contractors (EAC)
An exhibitor may hire a third-party booth contractor. CVC must be notified if an EAC is contracted. Proof of liability insurance must be received by CVC for any booth setup activity to be conducted by the EAC.
